Frequent visitors on the Gogomaniacs Bandcamp site will notice that the album "Grab your heart and feel the weight" has 8 additional tracks now.
That's correct. We just hadn't the time and nerves to produce a new album with a new cover and design for the new songs, so instead we squeezed them into the old album. It is now divided in
Gogomaniacs Garage Suite Part I (Songs 1 to 8) and
Gogomaniacs Garage Suite Part II (Songs 9 to 18).
A few modest words about the new release:
After years of enclosure and artistic wrestling, the unique Gogomaniacs have recorded an album in an unparalleled creative frenzy that rushes far ahead of its time and yet always looks back into an age of analogue. Never forgetting their roots, they combine simplicity with complexity.
Ahem. Or whatever.
The songs 4, 5 and 13 are autobiographical, but we don't reveal by whom. Song No. 8: You know who is meant. So SAD! With Brexit in mind, we wrote songs No. 5, 14 and 17 for the European market.
You can find out everything else on Gogomaniacs.com (assuming this website will ever be online), after our concerts when you invite us for a few drinks or probably just never.
